ASEDrive IIIe Serial smart card reader utilizes the most durable landing type smart card acceptor to ensure longer reader and card life as well as minimum damage to the cards outer surface.

The Smart Card Reader firmware is flash upgradeable for future unlimited updates.

Optimized for Smart card applications where high speed is essential such as Smart Card Logon, VPN and PKI operations.

ASEDrive IIIe Serial smart card reader supports a wide range protocols : ISO7816 T=0; T=1; EMV; I2C/Extended I2C Memory and 2/3 -Bus Protected Memory Cards. 

The ASEDrive IIIe Serial smart card reader passed the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL) certification program and is eligible for the "Designed for Windows XP" logo for Windows ME, Windows 2000,Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.

The ASEDrive IIIe Serial has got the EMVCo letter of approval (# 11489 0903 311 10 FIM) and is listed as an EMV Level 1 compliant device in the EMVCo Web Site.
